We plan to launch the centre in January 2025. We hope you can join us for our grand opening!
Yes, as long as you have a 3 month + hire agreement in place, you may setup your space how you wish, whether that be furniture, equipment or decor.
At the end of your agreement, the workspace will need to be returned back to its original condition, ready to be hired out to the next creative.
There are 8 main workspaces / studios / workshops available to our resident creatives, which house up to a maximum of 2 members per space.
Other larger spaces will be available to hire on an hour by hour basis, so there will be opportunities to continually meet new creatives.
The spaces measure:
8ft x 8ft (64sqft)
2.4m x 2.4m (5.7sqm)
No deposit is required for the workspace / studio hire.
There are 4 car parking spaces directly outside of the centre. There is also a large car park when you enter the industrial estate.
There are kitchen facilities within the centre where you can make hot drinks & heat food. There are future plans to have staff on site to prepare lunch for our members.
We plan to run one workshop per month, covering different creative categories like arts & crafts, music & writing
Yes, if you would like to volunteer, please get in touch by phone or by email to discuss with one of the team.
Members of the public can come into the centre for specific events, such as gallery days & markets. These events will be listed on the events page of the website, Eventbrite & Facebook.
Members may invite visitors in to the centre as long as they sign in & out and follow the centre’s procedures.
